Objective
Promote the Jordan brand and new NBA Connected Jersey, containing an NFC chip embedded in its tag that, when tapped with a smartphone, provided fans access to exclusive content and experiences through the NikeConnect app.
Successes
The Champs Sports State Street store was designed to host a shoppable launch party, complete with a DJ table and street art muralist.
Created an immersive takeover of the space that felt seamless while still maintaining brand identity for AF1 & Jordan
Incorporated an elevated Converse moment with a custom pedestal
Brought brand awareness to Nike's new Connected NBA jerseys with an elevated platform and custom lighting that played into the moody "night life" vibe of the overall space
97% attendance rate of guests invited and 100% jerseys sell-through rate by end of first week of launch
